【内容提要】
    本文通过对河曲“二人台”的实地调查，阐述了“二人台”的起源、发展以及代表作《走西口》及走西口它的历史背景故事情景作了介绍。收集了一些“二人台”的相关资料。采访了当地有名的名歌手辛里生、创作者韩运德、任俊文。客观地反映了河曲“二人台”的真实现状，由于多元化、多样化的文化生活的发展、流行音乐深入千家万户、年轻一代受现代时尚文化生活的影响、再加上创作队伍的萎缩导致“二人台”现在的危机。一方面为宣传河曲“二人台”，另一方面对河曲“二人台”的传承、保护进行了分析。

    “二人台”，是人类在从事生产劳动的实践中不断产生的、形成的，它至今也在不断的发展、完善和科学化。
    随着，近代工商业的发展，城镇经济的繁荣，广大农村艺人渐向城市集中，使原来各地流行的民间歌舞、说唱曲艺、民歌小曲、地方小戏（花鼓戏、花灯戏、采茶戏）等艺术形式也在不断地茁壮成长。这些地方小戏在内容上大多反映劳动人民的生活情景，或是一些长期在民间流传，深受群众喜爱的民间故事，在演出形式上较为生动活泼，曲调也很丰富，具有浓郁的地方特色。在流传过程中，彼此之间又有所交流，各自吸收新的曲调，有的则形成影响较大的地方剧种。
西北风刮吉屯乡，
